Bert was born and raised in San Francisco and has worked all of his adult life in The City. He has a wide range of experience in Operations and Management of Commercial, Retail and Residential Real Estate.
Bert was most recently the Director of Community Outreach and Government Relations for Stellar Management in San Francisco where he led the Outreach Team through the successful entitlement process for the Parkmerced Project. He is a Steward of the Community being actively involved in charitable and non-profit causes in serving San Francisco.
Bert serves on the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce, the Leadership San Francisco Board (2010/11 LSF Chair) (2004 LSF Alumnus). Bert also serves on the Board of Directors of The San Francisco Apartment Association and the Stonestown YMCA where he was awarded Volunteer of the Year in 2008. Bert is Past President and Board member of the Coalition for Better Housing and sits as a director and founding member of the San Francisco Taxpayers Union. Bert also serves on the Board of Directors of the Stern Grove Festival Association.
Bert holds the Professional Designation of Certified Property Manager from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). He has held several offices with the Board of IREM Chapter 21 serving as its President in 2006 and on the National Board of Governors for several years. He also received the CPM of the year in 2006. Bert holds a General Contractors License with the State of California.
Bert has been married to Marilyn for over 40 years; has three grown children and is dedicated to his four grandchildren.
Brook Turner is an award-winning political consultant with 30 years of experience as a government relations executive, political campaign manager, and trade association director. As partner, he has many roles, including creative director, public relations strategy and crisis management.
Prior to forming P3, Brook became and remains Executive Director of the Coalition for Better Housing, a coalition of the leaders of San Francisco’s largest rental properties. He’s acted as analyst, spokesperson, and City Hall lobbyist on a variety of complex public policy issues. At CBH, Brook has also helped manage numerous successful ballot measure campaigns.
Brook began his career in Colorado as a congressional staff member and campaign manager. Upon moving to San Francisco he became a Vice-president of Jack Davis and Associates, a wildly successful political consulting firm. He’s managed public interest initiatives and campaigns, including local, state and presidential.
Brook has also organized many civic and charitable projects. He founded the Housing Industry Policy Council and the Condominium/Coop Coalition.
Brook is a devoted father of two boys, Witt and Rhett, and husband to political consultant, Maggie Muir, of Muir Consulting.
Janan New is the Executive Director of the San Francisco Apartment Association. Janan has an extensive back ground in real estate related businesses, banking and local political matters. She is a registered lobbyist in the City and County of San Francisco. Janan has volunteered on many civic fundraising events and political campaigns. Janan serves on the Board of the Bay Area Women’s and Children’s Center in the Tenderloin. She has lived in San Francisco for over thirty years and is the proud mother of a fourteen year old boy.
